Home Learning

Homework is very important for consolidation of key terms during Year 6.

The children receive Maths homework linked to specific classwork on Monday or Tuesday - this is to be completed in their CGP workbooks.

They will also receive arithmetic and calculations homework from Mrs Duffy on Fridays.

Spellings are also to be learned following Friday's English lesson.

CHILDREN ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO READ EVERY NIGHT - ON THURSDAY EVENINGS THE EXPECTATION IS TO AIM FOR AT LEAST 40 MINUTES OF SUSTAINED SILENT READING. STAMINA IS IMPORTANT!
