Please be aware that whatever is on this page is suggested only.  You know your child and their needs best.  If they need time out, give them time out.  They may be feeling worried or anxious and may need a little bit of extra tlc during this unusual time.  Don't worry about them falling behind academically - we can address this when we return to normal.  However, these activities should be enjoyable and beneficial for your child.

Phonics and English

As well as taking a look at the links below, why don't you choose a favourite toy to go on adventures with you around your home. Write a diary similar to the style of 'Traction Man', or postcards similar to the ones 'Sunny' sent us. You could even add photos and create a powerpoint, or create a comic using speech bubbles and thought bubbles! If emailed to school, I will do my best to get them uploaded on to our Class Page for all your friends to share too.

Phonics Play - This website has free access during the current situation and has lots of great games that can be played on the computer or tablets.

Pobble365  - This website has a daily image which prompts discussion and ideas for writing opportunities.

Oxford Owl Reading Scheme - These are free e-books that are similar to those in our Whole School Reading Scheme.

Literacy Company - In the Files section, you will find a unit from the Literacy Company with ideas to stimulate writing at home.

Cosmic Yoga - This YouTuber has shared a range of stories told using Yoga. It's great for some calming time.



Twinkl - Lots of ideas and activities for a variety of topics. They are offering a months subscription for free.

The Great Fire of London - This is a link to a game where you can find out more about the Great Fire of London.

30 Days of Lego - In the files section below there is a brilliant document with 30 lego challenges.

100 things to do inside  - This has a brilliant list of fun activities to do at home such as build a den, create a puppet show.
